Matthew Streeton, more commonly know as just Matt, is an announcer on the British railway network. He is an announcer for the Atos CIS system at Thameslink, Southern and Great Northern stations. At all stations where he announces trains, he does so alongside Anne. Matt also has a 'see it, say it, sorted' announcement that plays on C2C and Thameslink trains as well as a 'mind the gap' announcement on Thameslink every time the train stops a station. He also voices the short platform announcements on Thameslink, Southeastern and Great Northern Desiro City trains.
Matt has been making announcements on the railway network since 2011. Since 2007, he has been a GTR employee (originally First Capital Connect), and currently is in charge of managing the passenger information systems on-board the Thameslink Class 700, Southeastern Class 707 and Great Northern Class 717 trains.
Besides working at GTR, Matt also volunteers at the Ruislip Lido Railway and Seaton Tramway.
