Ruth is an Atos automated announcer used at most Transport For Wales managed train stations. At the Welsh TfW stations, she shares the announcements with Glyn, who gives them in Welsh. Ruth is known for sounding rather bored when giving announcements.
Ruth used to be a Wessex Trains employee and did announcements at many of their stations. She has since been replaced by Anne and Rodger.
